On Wednesday, January 7, Broken Arrow Public Schools emailed parents a PDF titled The Vanguard Evolution. The document outlined several major changes planned for Vanguard, including the removal of the application process, the elimination of the freshman class, and a revised bell schedule to align with the traditional high school schedule.This sudden announcement left many students, staff, and parents feeling uninformed and excluded from the decision-making process. In response, a student-created petition gained over 2,000 signatures in just three days.
