Broken Arrow Vanguard Academy is a state-of-the-art STEM school located in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. On Wednesday, January 7, Broken Arrow Public Schools emailed parents a PDF titled The Vanguard Evolution. The document outlined several major changes planned for Vanguard, including the removal of the application process, the elimination of the freshman class, and a revised bell schedule to align with the traditional high school schedule.This sudden announcement left many students, staff, and parents feeling uninformed and excluded from the decision-making process. In response, a student-created petition gained over 2,000 signatures in just three days.Before spring break on Friday March 13th Vanguard lost Stacy Bingman the only admin that Vanguard had. In a Board Meeting there was a motion to pass two new admin at Vanguard. The first being Oneta Ridge Principal Michael Sagely coming to serve as the principal of Vanguard. The second admin Andrea Sagely was the assistant principal at Vanguard until she was moved to Oliver Middle School November 2025 She is Also now moving back to Vanguard to serve as the Assistant principal.
